We use Faith in Action not to blow our own trumpets, but because a Christian life is dead to self and alive in Him.

Our Faith in Action stories, just like any you may have, need to point people to Our Lord and Our Friend. All of our actions should be a witness to Our Lord and Our Friend.

We are the salt of the earth Mathew 5 verse13 ” You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose it’s taste, how can it be made salty. It is no longer good for anything but to throw out and be trampled on by men.”

Keep your faith strong, be the salt {encouragement} to all you can on your journey.

Here is one of our stories, be encourage on how easy it is to witness.

We are never too old to learn, never too old to hear.

I was taught something myself in this situation. I had the privileged of picking up a lady and her son, who had been waiting over a hour for a taxi to go to the airport.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The lady was quite upset they needed to be at the airport 30 minutes before take off. When I picked them up there was not enough time to get them to the airport and allow for the 30 minutes.

It was going to be some journey, all the way there the lady was getting more and more upset. Red light after red light.

I heard her tell her son to pray like he learnt at school, to which I agreed that this was a great idea. The boy and myself became quite calm, but the mother was panicking all the way.  we arrived at the airport in really good time amazingly but still 10 minutes late.

I told her I would look after her son if she wanted to run in, and we would follow with the baggage.

She made it, the plane was late so there was no problem after all.

I gave the son our card “If it matters to you it matters to Him” and he passed it to his mother. She looked back at me and smiled.

I think we all learnt something that day “It did matter to Him’ WHEN WE TOOK IT TO HIM IN PRAY.

“Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5 verse 7.

Everybody needs encouragement so enjoy being His witness to the world that is lost in the stresses of life.
