Storms have a way of revealing character.
A lesson in Transformation who do we listen to. Storms will come, but who is the Captain of our boat.
Luke 8 verse 22 to 25:
Highlighting V 23: “As they sailed across, Jesus settled down for a nap. But soon a fierce storm came down on the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in real danger”.
It was not that Jesus was in the boat, but they were in the middle of a lake. There could have been a worst scenario they could have been on a great ocean.
As believers we should always be in the presence of Jesus. He has told us he will never leave us or forsake us.
O.T. Deuteronomy 31 Verse 8: “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will never fail you or abandon you”.
N.T. Hebrew 13 verse 5: “Don’t love money, be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, ‘I will never fail you. I will never abandon you’.”
Storms are apart of nature, Storm of life may come but we have an incredible helper in the Holy Spirit, Who the Lord has sent to be with us.
We only need to call out, and He will reassure us that His plans for our lives are fir good and not for ruin.
The storm will build character which we can go through with full trust in our Lord and Our Friend.
Don’t be overcome but be transformed with Him in the storms of life.
God Bless.
