Faith In Action ‘Finished Work” 1

We are going to write several articles on T’he finished work of the Cross’ throughout this year. This is our part One, which we hope you all can take something from. We will enjoy sharing more of this endless topic in the weeks to come.

V 22: “But there was an oath regarding Jesus, ‘for God said to him the Lord has taken an oath and will not break his oath you are a priest forever’.”

V 23: “there was many priests under the old system for death prevented them from remaining in office verse”.

V 24: “but Jesus lives forever His priesthood lasts for ever”.

V 25: “therefore He is able once and forever to save Those who come to God through him he lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf”.

V 26: “He is a kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless unstained by sin he has been set apart

Jesus fulfilled the old covenant under the old covenant sin offering once a year

Jesus paid the price for all time we can’t put Jesus on the cross every year for our transgression Jesus promised everlasting life if you believe in him and what he did through the cross there are three doctrinal teachings

!. Justification just as if you didn’t do it.

2. Sanctification growing in the finished work of the cross

3.Gloification when we get to our heavenly home, we will have glorified bodies

Salvation comes through repentance and brings relationship. Relationship of sanctification and growing in the finished work of The Cross.

Ephesians 2 verse 6 {seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus}

Salvation is a gift and God never takes away the gift. Let us all take the time to grow into His knowledge and understanding, as Our Lord and Our Friend leads us, because He has promised. “He said He would never leave us or forsake us.” Hebrews 13 Verse 5:
