Weekend inspiration

Greetings Everyone, and a Happy Christmas.’JESUS’ is our word for this month. The name above all names. Isaiah 9:6 prophecies the coming of our Savior.

“For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Then in Luke 2:1-20 tells us of God’s love personified; how even though He was born in a lowly stable, and had an animal feeding trough for His bed, He was visited by royalty from other countries who acknowledged Jesus as the promised Messiah.

What an amazing love story beginning with His birth at Christmas and sealing it 33 years later at Calvary. May the love of God expressed in the coming of ‘JESUS’, be your experience this Christmas time. I pray that God will reveal Himself to you in a special way this Christmas, and that you will discover something new about the Christmas story. I also pray that you and your families will be safe and find time to rest and refresh yourselves after a busy year.

Heavenly Father, we thank you are always there for us. You are our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and our Prince of Peace.

We know that you love us so much. Teach us how to love you more, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Blessing

Chaplain Ron
