From Old To New

From Old to New. From Old Covenant to New Covenant.

And under the New Covenant the Apostle Paul wrote this surprising passage:

1 Corinthians 4 Verse 3 to 4: NLT:

V 3: “As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated but you or any human authority. I don’t even trust my own judgement on this point”.

V 4: “My conscience is clear, but that doesn’t prove I’m right. It is the Lord Himself Who examines me and decides”.

The Answer ls always with Him.

Embrace the Old Testament but not the Old Covenant.

Isaiah 26 Verse 3: “You will keep perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on you”.

Experiencing peace comes from fixing our thought on Christ, not on our own performance or on the flesh.

Another way to think of it is like this. We don’t walk into a dark room and cast out the darkness.  We simply turn on the light.

Our Lord and Our Friend is our light, we look to Him.

There is no condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8 Verse 1:

So we don’t need to fixate on the flesh and foster a sin consciousness rather a Christ consciousness.

Jesus is always the focus.

God Bless.
