Faith in Action “Growing in the right soil”

Colossians 2 Verse 4:

“I am saying this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive arguments”.

What Paul trying to warn us about, teaching that take away from Christ Jesus. 

V3: “in Him {Christ Jesus} All the Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge are hidden”.

When a person is born again into the family of God, he {or she} complete in Christ.

He {or she} grows from the inside out. Nothing needs to be added to Christ because he {or she} already is in the very fullness of God.

As a believer draws on Christ fullness, he [or she} is made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 3 Verse 19: “and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God”.

IN seeing this picture of spiritual progress, we see how growing believers can easily defeat the enemy and not be led astray.

If our spiritual roots are deep in Christ, we will not want any ither soil.

We grow in Him and not without Him.
