Comprehension, Choice and Align

Comprehension= the act or power of understanding.

Ephesians 1 verse 4 in a few translations:

NIV “For He chose us in Him before the foundations of the world to be Holy and blameless in His sight in love”.

KJV “According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundations of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love”.

Amplified Version:” Just as ‘in His love’ He chose us in Christ {actually selected us for Himself on His own} before the foundations of the world, so that we would be holy {that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose driven] and blameless before Him in love.

Listen and comprehend from the verses what is clear; He has chosen us.

He had a choice, just as we have a choice. We were created in His image.

A choice to choose Him as Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.

1 Timothy 2 verse 3 and 4; “God desires all men to be saved, He desires that end. But not all men are saved”.

We need to choose what He has chosen for the lives of people that accept Him.

Romans 10 Verse 13: “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved’.

Comprehend, Choose and Align.

1 Corinthians 2 verse 16: “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach Him? But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ”.

He created us with a choice.

That we accept and align ourselves with Him.

That He may set us apart for Him, purpose driven and blameless in His sight in love—and understand all that He has created us to know in Him.
