Be made whole in His love

You (in Christ) – Focus of His love

Ephesians chapter 1 verse 3 in the Message Bible says “How blessed is God! And what a blessing He is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in Him. “ On the mountain top (high places) how different do we view things. We see clearly – the air is fresh and clean.

Verse 4 says “long before He laid down the earth’s foundations, HE HAD US IN MIND – had settled on us as the FOCUS OF HIS LOVE, to be made whole and holy in His love.” Wow! Do you know that in Christ, God had you in mind to be the focus of His love? His desire is that we be made whole in His love. That’s in every area of our lives – including emotionally, mentally and physically)

Verse 5 tells us that He decided to adopt us into His family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure He took in planning this!)

Verse 7 confirms that because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, His blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people – free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, but abundantly (plentifully, copiously, richly) free!!!

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 MSG “May God Himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together, spirit, soul and body – and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ.”
