Hebrews says profound things about Christ’s provision for taking away our sins.

In Chapters 1 to 10: focus on the problem; that sin is our fundamental problem, and Jesus came to provide the ONLY way to take away our sins.

In Chapter 11 focus on Faith: The Old Testament believers in God are example of faith.

They were told to do something by God.

They understood what God told them and believed Him {had faith}, even though what He told them seemed impossible.

They acted in obedience.

They received a miracle.

Noah is a great example of this. God told him to build an Arc and gave him detailed instructions of how to build the ark. He lived in a place far from water, so this would have seemed ridiculous. But he believed God and obeyed.

Then miraculously he and his family were spared from the unprecedented flood that came and killed everyone else.

Knowing who we are IN Christ, forgiven, set free from the bondage of sin. Sin is a bondage but Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Friend paid the price by dying in our place. To give us newness of life.

He calls us for purpose and destiny, and faith in Him will bring the miraculous to us.
