Issues of life
Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23 in The Passion Translation says “So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life”.
The heart may include our thoughts, our wills, our discernment and our affections. It is suggested that “the issues of life”, the Hebrew word yasa is actually “seasons”, especially springtime. Out of our hearts flow the seasons of life. It is our hearts, not our ages or circumstances that shape the seasons of our lives.
Spring is all about new beginnings and transformations; it is a season that symbolizes starting fresh and starting over. After the cold temperatures of winter, spring reawakens us and our surrounding environment, bringing everything back to life. It is steeped in love and joy – the essence of all that is good – and the spring months are associated with ideas of rebirth, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. Spring symbolizes life in all its glory.
Our Lord and Friend Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Wisdom and He has come to live in us and to teach us how to overcome in every day circumstances and challenges. Our God is faithful. He is well able. He is for you.
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.” 2 Corinthians 2:14 AMP
