It is All About Him, Our Lord, Our Savior, Our Redeemer and Our Friend. Without Him we all are nothing because in Him Acts 17 Verse 28: It confirms to us that: “For In Him we live and move and exist”.
Many years ago, we believed we were led by the Holy Spirit to start writing a web/blog site. Called My Lord My Friend.
Today we are so blessed because of that leading we are just posting our 5000 article to the site. All glory and Honor belong to The Great and Wonderful God we serve.
So here is the statement of beliefs we posted then , we are very blessed by this earlier statement that we have posted the number we have to Honor and Worship Him through our writings.
My Lord My Friend is the statement behind our beliefs. We believe and know that Jesus is Our Lord. Our Redeemer and Our Friend.
We at My Lord My Friend, com. want to encourage everybody to live the life that we have been called to live in His Word.
To become believers, followers or Christians or whatever it is you wish to be called. The title doesn’t matter, the fact that you are redeemed does!
Take a line from a singing group song, “My best friend is the Creator of the universe”.
Are we really aware of the truth that the Creator of the universe wants to be our friend? I don’t think we will ever understand just how much He loves us, and that we will ever understand real love, real relationship, until we accept the love He wants to give us.
There are many great Statements of Faith. The sinners prayer is also a ‘Statement of Faith’ where we acknowledge Who Jesus is and what He has done for us on the cross, and saying sorry for our wrong doings, that have separated us from walking in relationship with Him. Asking Him to come into our life, to help us as Our Lord and Our Friend.
Maybe it’s time for us, to further put our faith in Our God, and step into a place where we are daily renewing our salvation with God. Putting on the robes of faith, and walking together in likeness with Our Lord, Our Friend.
John 17 verse 17: Jesus asks His Father to:
“Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is truth”.
Our sanctification should bring our response: 1 Timothy 4 verses 7and 8:
V7: “But have nothing to do with irrelevant and silly myths, Rather, train yourself in Godliness”.
V8: “For the training of the body has limited benefit, but Godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promises for the presence life, and also for the life to come”.
Every day is a new day, in service for Our King.
God Bless.
OFJ.
