In Christian terms, true enlightenment does mean freedom, but freedom from the ego and selfishness and shame that has enslaved the souls of men and women from the dawn of civilization. Our Lord and Our Friend said to His followers,

“You will know the truth and the Truth will set you free.”  John 8 verse 32.

Only an act of God’s grace can offer this freedom, and only a willing and humble heart can except it. Only then can enlightenment come:

“Their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him.”

Ephesians 1 Verse 18: “I pray, that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints”.

Enlightened to the Hope of Our Lord’s calling.

Enlightened to the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints”.

Enlightened to recognize His Grace, Love and Mercy He bestows on our lives.

Be enlightened by the Truth of Who Jesus really is, Our Savior, Our Redeemer, Our Lord and Our Friend.
