Transformation Continuing

Transformation Continuing.

Nothing is hidden from Our Lord and Our Friend.

Like the [people in the time of Amos, and like the people throughout history, we have the capacity for giving attention to external or shadow effects while ignoring the issues of the heart.

We can sometimes evaluate by sight and feeling rather than be truth,

1 Samuel 16 Verse 7: “But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not look at his appearance or his stature, because I have rejected him. Man does not se what the Lord see, for man {Or Woman} sees what is visible, but the Lord see the heart’.”

We can easily join a large. religious crowd, enthusiastically sing rousing songs, put offering in the plate, and yet not be changed in our hearts.

The test of a spiritual experience should not be good feeling, large crowds, or a good time. The real test should be if we are drawn closer to God, and we are becoming more like Christ Jesus.

Whatever we are doing in ministry, we are all called to serve, everything that we accomplish for the Lord flows out of our worship.

Like the people in Amos’s day, we’re only going to Bethel for entertainment. We need to refocus on our calling and examine our hearts to make certain that our motives are right, and that what we do in public meeting or anywhere for that matter, glorifies Our Lord and Our Friend out of our love back to Him.

God Bless,

OFJ
