Chaplains Message

Hello all, remember God loves us and is faithful. He says to all who love Him and are faithful to Him;”Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid”. John 14 vs 27

According to one person’s count, there are 3573 promises in the Bible, and God keeps every single one of them. If we belong to Him, He promises;

“never to leave us nor forsake us”. Deuteronomy 31 vs 6

“He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear” 1 Corinthians 10 vs 13

“He will encourage your heart, and strengthen you in every good deed and word” 2 Thessalonians 2:17

As we look at our own lives when life looks like it is a shambles, maybe the plans are not going as we thought they should. There comes those moments when someone we love is suffering, or our hear aches heavy.

Perhaps in those moments we are not looking at the finished products. Maybe instead we are somewhere in the middle of where life is just a little messy at the moment – might God still be at work?

He will finish the work He started.

So I encourage you to fix your eyes on the Maker (Creator), and cling to His promises and stand firm on His faithfulness.

Heavenly Father, please give us the faith to trust You even when life is messy and chaotic. Give us eyes to see glimpses of Your fabulous work that You are doing in us and the world around us. Help us to stand on Your promises.
