Not Just Bible Characters

We have completed a series of ‘Not Just Bible Characters’ We also should consider our own lives as not just Christian by name.

We often ponder on, the more status some Christians gain in their careers and their communities, the less vocal they become about their Christian  faith.

Instead of acknowledging God for allowing their success, they often squander the excellent opportunities God has given them, to have effect for Him with the gospel message.

If only we could all realize the principal of Mathew 6 verse 33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.”

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, the principal doesn’t finish when we have climbed the ladder of success, or even on the ladder.

What an inspiration for the people it would be, if they were to see their leaders seeking God first, in all they do.Most leaders these days barely know about God, let alone know Him, and seek Him or acknowledge Him.

We have become a leaderless society, with very few leaders, that don’t lack moral fiber. The world needs and is looking for Godly leaders, but unfortunately all we are getting is great orators Telling itching ears what they want to hear, with no substance in what they say..

Pray for Godly leaders, who will also be Godly servants to all they lead.

2 Timothy 4 verses 3 to 5: “For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will accumulate teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new.”

We should all live the life of His high calling, keeping our eyes on what we are doing for the kingdom we are ambassadors for. In this we will keep the Message alive, to do a thorough job as God’s servant..

God Bless.
