PROCESSING AND PROGRESSING WITH GOD

Living a life  with  the  Lord  is  a  constant  learning  process.  Almost  like  a ride  on  a  Roller  Coaster.  Soaring  to  the  top  and  circling to the bottom. With hearts  pounding and holding  our  breaths we  touch  the  ground  and  feel  safe with  relief.   It  takes years  of  processing in  the Christian  journey,to  progress and  evaluate  the  varying  paths. Jesus leads us along  many a winding  path  of incredible, learning, exploratory episodes,through feelings and faith.

Often  it is  a  humbling, sorrowful, hurting  experience combined with joyful,  reassuring answers to prayer at unexpected times from the grace of Him who is always in control.As humans, our feelings drag us into doubt, fears and loss of hope and our hearts become stones. We pray and plead, share with others but somehow it seems the situation changes not.  Because of our feelings we stop sharing  with  others  and  then  feel  ashamed  of  our  lack  of  faith  and  tend  to withdraw.  But, He will not let us go and nurtures his flock behind the scenes.  The  worst  part  is  being  judged by other Christians as not having enough  faith and speaking out.  Far better, in my opinion,that a loving Christian,holds you in  a hug  with one  hand,and  a cup of coffee in the other,while  listening  and caring. This is my belief anyway.  Nourishing with love touches the soul.

In Lamentations three/ verses 20 –33, ‘and my soul is cast down within me.  Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have HOPE.  Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is your faithfulness.  I say to myself, ‘The Lord is MY PORTION: therefore I will WAIT for Him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who SEEKS Him.  It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of  (by)  the  Lord.  For  his  men/women  are  not  cast  off  by  the  Lord  forever. Though he brings grief he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.’Remember  that  your  God  is  a processing God of HOPE  and LOVE and Progressing.
