BLESSINGS

Each Day as I look around and see

The blessings that you’ve bestowed upon me

The freedom to worship and to behold

The wonder and beauty as days unfold

To hear the birds all singing in tune

The scented aroma of a still afternoon

The gentle breezes that softly blow

The sun and the rain where poppies grow

To gaze at the calm of the seashore

The still blue waters beckoning more

The gentle waves tossing to and fro

What a blessing your hand does bestow
