Reflective Moment ‘With Whom Do We Trust’

trust

“In You, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be put to confusion”.

Psalm 71 v !; {KJV}

Something that Adam and Eve didn’t do, put their trust in what their creator God had told them. Genesis 3 verse 1 to 6:

God had told them not to eat of the fruit of the tree, in the midst of the garden. but when they were tested, they didn’t put their trust in, why God, told them not to eat from it.

We may think the same way, when we are tested, by the same question, ‘Has God said?’

But hopefully we all would give a better answer, because we know and we trust, what our Lord and Our Friend has said.

“In You, O Lord, do I put my trust”. We might not understand the reason for not doing something, The Word of God has told us not to do,

But We must trust Him. Jeremiah 29 verse 11: {KJV}

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says The Lord, thoughts of peace, and not for evil, to give you an expected end”.

Our Lord and Our Friend, knows what is best for us, and His plans and His thoughts for us, are for our peace, and not for our harm, so we should think The  Creator, would knows, the best He has for us.

So our answer, to any question, like the very one Adam and Eve, gave a rebellious answer to, should be, “We Know and Love Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend”. We know, What He has said in His Word, and we will not go against It, because He is always thinking of our best.

God Bless.
