We are not expected to be strong out of ourselves. We obtain our strength through Him.
Ephesians 6 verse 10: “Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength.”
Exodus 15 verse 2: ” The Lord is my strength and my song: He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise Him, my fathers’ God, and I will exalt Him.”
Psalm 28 verse 7: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I praise Him with my song.”
It might seem strange to some, but the best way to build our lives, and His strength in to us, is Praise and Worship Him.
Praise and Worship, takes our eyes off our self, and focuses our eyes on Our Lord and Our Friend.
Knowledge, of who we are in Him, builds our strength in our new life in Him, because we have surrender our old self to him.
Trust, the promises He has for us, and walk in that assurance.
When we get a hold of this, it is easier to understand Zechariah 4 verse 6: “‘Not by strength or might, but by My Spirit’, says The Lord of Hosts.
Our real strength comes with the help of The Holy Spirit, we can huff and puff all we like, but unless we are prepared to spend time in His Presence, Worshiping, Learning, and Trusting, we will never really have great success in any challenges that may come our way.
1 Chronicles 16 verse 11: “Search for The Lord and for His strength; seek His Face always.”
