Salvation means according to a dictionary: deliverance from sin, evil or difficulty, it is not a complex thing. It is yet profound faith in Christ.
Salvation is more just a casual invitation of inviting Christ Jesus into the heart. There seems to be a trend these days for the casual, without commitment, but Salvation follows a consciousness of sin, wrong doings against the God that created us for fellowship with Him.
Salvation is an awareness that God’s standard has not been met and because of this awareness there is a belief of deserving His punishment for eternity. Salvation is not a turn or burn doctrine, we will all get to stand before God and give an account of ourselves.
Salvation is accepting God’s way of dealing with our repented wrong-doings {sin}. There must be a genuine and honest confession of sin followed by faith in Christ Jesus. Salvation then can be our deliverance from the burden of sin, from which comes Divine forgiveness, spiritual rebirth, and new life in Christ Jesus.
Romans 10 verse 9 and 10:
V9: “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
V10: “With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in Salvation.”
It can never become a whim, it can never become something casual, in can never become just prose. To express our love and commitment to The Lord, it is a Love commitment of the heart.
No one can pay a price to be right with God, because He doesn’t need anything, but by His Grace which is priceless, we all have way of Salvation.
Christ Jesus, Our Lord, Our redeemer and Our Friend is that way. John 14 verse 6:
“Jesus told him, ‘I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life, No one comes to the Father except through Me’.”
Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like Me.
John 3 verse 17: “For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be Saved through Him.”
Truly Amazing Grace, that takes a decision, from the heart, the deep inner part of us, and not just a half-hearted response. Amazing Grace that offers such, wonderful blessings and newness of life.
God Bless.
