There seams to be a dilemma in our societies, where we are not allowed to talk about politics and religion. Well neither of these two subjects, the way they are in the world are too inspiring.
The public switch to talking about life styles, yet a lifestyle that reflects Christ Like Values, is not held high. Christianity is a life style, but many organizations over the years have turned it into a religion.
The Christian lifestyle does not revolve around us, it revolves around Our Lord and Our Friend, through Whom we can display Christ Like Values.
We have individual faith, belief and relationship with Our Lord Our Redeemer and Our Friend, but how as believers how do we live as His followers in a public arena?
We need to look back at where, Living Christ Like Values, first started, in The Book of Acts. There was a vibrancy, there was a hunger to witness, and there was a hunger to find out about this vibrancy, but there was also great persecution, organized mainly from the religious.
Religion and politics, suppress to uncontrollable, which Christianity is in it’s purest form an uncontrollable vibrancy. Religion and politics try to put people in boxes, a box for this belief, and a box for that, where it is easier to control.
A Christ Like Life style is base on Love, John 3 verse 16; {For God so loved…..}, Real love brings Vibrancy.
The confusion in the world lies with what lies with what love is. people love things, but you can’t love unresponsive objects or events. Objects and events Eg. processions, entertainment, sport and even the dark-side drugs.
The love that is bandied about is really lust, and sex is not love, it is the expression of love, in the right environment and circumstances is beautiful and vibrant. Because that is what Love is beautiful and vibrant.
Virtually what we are saying is the world, and the world ways are against the vibrancy of a Christ like Lifestyle, because the Christan belief has been placed in a box called religion, so it can be controlled.
Acts 2 verse 12 and 13: The vibrancy the first Christians had:
V12: And they {the People} were all astounded and perplexed, saying to one another, ‘What could this be’?”
V13: But some sneered and said, “They are full of new wine”.
Peter get up and explains, {Verse 15} These people are not drunk, as you suppose, they are just very full of the vibrancy of The Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 1 verse 26 to 31: We don’t have to turn ourselves into something we are not, we just need to let God’s Spirit {The Holy Spirit} work in and through our lives, because He is the vibrancy, we need to display as Kingdom People.
God Bless.
