The Bible is clear that as Kingdom people we are to dress ourselves differently. Paul tell the people of Colossae some think about this. Colossians 3 verse 12:
“Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience”.
To put on new clothes, we must take off some old ones.
Take off the things not befitting of A kingdom people. Take off our fears, Take off our insecurities. Take off our hostilities. Take off any self-centered pride, to name but a few of the heavy garments that hold us back.
1 Peter 5 verse 5:
“And all of you clothe yourselves with humility towards one another, because God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble”.
Nothing Our Lord and Our Friend, gives us to put on is heavy, all the clothing is light, because by wearing them we are to reflect Him. Everything He has done for us, is to help us achieve our purpose and destiny of being co-workers with Him.
Clothe ourselves in Him, because there is no condemnation for those In Christ Jesus. Romans 8 verse 1: It is truly something to ponder.
God Bless.
