When we look through scripture, we find God uses all kinds of people. If we take our example for this from the Book of Judges. The people god use as judges were all quite different.

Deborah seems to have been a remarkable woman, and very gifted.

Barak was unwilling to take responsibility

Gideon began as a coward and ended up encouraging the people the people  to worship an idol.

Jephthah was a brave soldier but not always thinked before he spoke.

Samson had strength, but his moral in life, could be questioned.

When we look at a Book like Judges, which perhaps does not get read as much as it should, we can see a picture of life in the times of the judges. And a message we can take from this wonderful book, which is one of 66 that makes up The Bible, is it encourages us not to write off any situation as being beyond Our Lord and Our Friend’s help, or anyone, including ourselves, as being too timid,too  stupid or even too lacking of faith to be use by Him.

God use all kinds of people, are we available?
