Another great Hymn, sung down though the years of time. There have been many old movies, I can remember this hymn being sung in. Virtually rejoicing, in doing work for Our Lord and Our Friend,

It is best remember by being called, ‘Bringing In The Sheaves’, and even with the many new modern Hymns and songs, it is still wonderful, to sing along to.

V1; Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,

sowing in the noontide and the dewy eves;

waiting for the harvest, and a time of reaping,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves!

V2; Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,

Fearing neither cloud nor winter’s chilling breeze;

By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves!

V3; Go then ever, weeping, sowing for the Master,

Through the loss sustained our spirit often grieves;

When our weeping’s over, He will bid us welcome,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves!

Great words, doing our work for Our Lord and Our Friend, in kindness, {By the Fruits of The Spirit}. Even when we are in the sunshine {the good times] or in the shadows [the times when we might be going through things}. We can always rejoice in doing our work, for His Kingdom.
