We are created to be filled, but the infilling we are created to have is filled with The Spirit of God.

Ephesians 5 verse 18: ” And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but be filled with The Spirit”.

I have seen enough drunk {with alcohol} people in my job, we constantly makes me think, there must be something better we can be filled with. In Ephesians 5 verse 18; we have a clear contrast, on what we shouldn’t do, and what we should do.

Some people seek solace in getting drunk with alcohol to lose themselves in an unrealistic utopia, but the Apostle Paul is stating be filled with The Spirit, because God is our sufficiency.

Romans 15 verse 13:”now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of The Holy Spirit.

Being filled by the Spirit of God, with all joy and peace, to the point of overflowing, our lives will be transformed and be a testimony to others about Our Wonderful Lord and Friend.
