Point To Ponder

in The Bible ‘Satan’ is called ‘the god of this age:

2 Corinthians 4 verse 4: “The god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ, who is the image of God”.

The Bible also calls him ‘the prince {ruler} of this world’:

John 12 verse 31:

“Now is the judgement of the world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out”.

“And about the judgement, because the ruler of this world has been judged”.

The fact is First, Satan is not God’s equal. according to scriptures satan is a finite, created being.

Colossians 1 verse 16: Because by God everything was created. Satan can not created, he is a deceiver only.

The next fact is: Satan was the first sinner, in his rebellion against God:

1 John 3 verse 8: The Devil {Satan} has sinned from the beginning.

The next fact is: Revelation 12 verses 7 to 9; One day he will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity.

Ultimate Truth is: 1 John 4 verse 4: That Christians need not fear this supposive  god of this age, for The One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world.

Satan is good at deception, but not real smart, if he was he would not have allowed Our Lord and Our Friend to be crucified. By dying in our place, Christ Jesus paid the price for rebellion against God, for all who would believe, and through rising again Christ Jesus gives us all new life, free from fear and deception of Satan the god of this world.

In James 4 verse 7; Tells us Satan is a being to be resisted, and can be resisted by submitting and committing to Our Lord and Our Friend.

V7: Therefore, summit to God. “But resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.

Satan really is a coward and a bully, The easiest way I have found the get him off my back is to tell him to “Rack off in the  All-Powerful Name of My Lord, My Redeemer and My Friend, Christ Jesus, He has to go because he has to bow to the name of Jesus, because he was defeated at the cross,

God Bless.
