We are born into life, through the consummation  of love, known by God before we were born.

Jeremiah 1 verse 5: “I chose you before I formed you in the womb”.

A book by well known author Philip Yancey puts it: ‘Fearfully and Wonderfully  Made’.

We would all like to live a peaceable and happy life, which often puts us into a ‘Me’ concept. We will do anything, as long as it is ‘ok’ for the self part of us. but we were created in the image of God, and our God is selfless, as well as All powerful, all knowing, and ever present.

Sometimes life, send us an awful twist, a sudden tragedy, illness, accident or separation.  Shock Horror! these things happen to Christians too, they are part of life in this fallen world in which we live.

Our Faith is knocked around, but really nothing takes Our Lord and Our Friend by surprise. He is always there for us. Out Faith after all is a useable commodity, the more we use it, the more effective it becomes.

I was surprised, when an old Friend was talking to my wife {who is currently very ill, in the natural} and they said ‘They didn’t know to many people with faith like mine’. My reaction was one of surprise, ‘what are you talking about,  but thanks for your encouragement, I think’

Well my faith, the faith they though was strong faith, is taking a battering lately, with my wife being seriously ill, I have been hospitalized myself. My faith in The Lord hasn’t been shaken because I know more then ever He is King of Kings and Lord of Lord over my life, my wife, and my family.

This is where my faith tells me, we must do everything we can in the natural, to help these life health twists, and cling wholeheartedly to the Word of God, because it doesn’t matter what we are going through He is always with us.

So my faith at the moment has taken a jolt, I have come before Him more than ever, I have come before Him and cried, but more importantly I still come before Him with Praise, for Who He really is.

He is the name above, all Names, He is the Name above illness, tragedy and anything you think of for that manner, He is Sovereign. So does Faith in action take a back seat, because my life is in crisis, with mine and my wife illness. NO!

Old Hairy legs {Satan} might like me to do that, but my faith is always an Action, and despite the circumstances around my life and my family, Faith in talking about Him, His Goodness, and His Love will never stop.

My Lord and My Friend, is a Name above all Names, and He is a Name above all the things that are happening in my wife life, and mine as well. My wife is a great lady of faith as well, and I know how shattered she is at the moment, but that will not stop us from Honoring Him, by our Actions.

Philippians 4 verse 13: {Message Bible}:

“Whatever i have, wherever I am. I can make it through anything in the One who made me who I am.”

Faith shouldn’t stop in the tragedies of life, faith should grow stronger, knowing that we have the answer to all our problems, walking with us wherever and whatever we go through, He is the One we call Our Lord and Our Friend.
