Our Lord and Our Friend during His Earthly Ministry, established the evidence that it is God’s will to recover His creations from every expression of sin and Satan’s works
God’ healing Grace and goodness span the realm of the medical as well as the miraculous. God’s Word holds keys for health, healing, and deliverance, and it is not surprising that one’s first point of appeal is to Our Lord and Our Friend, when sickness comes. Our Lord and Our Friend knows all about us at anytime, and is only to willing to listen to our concerns, and help us all through dark times.
Searching for answers on this subject, is something our family is currently doing because of an illness among us , so if you are in a need of healing in your own life or for a love one, the best statement we can make, is have faith in Our Lord and Our Friend.
We have taken solace from a story from the Word of God in 2 Kings 20 verse 1 to 11: King Hezekiah’s ‘Sickness and Recovery’:
the Story begins with Hezekiah, being informed by the prophet Isaiah that he will die of his illness. Hezekiah immediately begins top pray and seek God earnestly, not accepting the fate of death. God gives him an addition 15 years to live.
This is a testimony that prayer in the face of terminal death is a good an appropriate thing to do:
Isaiah instructed Hezekiah to apply a poultice, but to think it was only the poultice that caused the healing, would take away from the healing power of prayer.
God is the author of all healing benefits, however the use of a poultice, would also suggest that medical procedures are also never inappropriate.
God alone can heal after all He created everything, but how He brings about the healing, is really up to Him, whether it is miraculous, or by natural means, or by human intervention. One should happily accept anyway God choose to deal with illness and disease.
There is also a place for persistence for healing as in Mark 5 verse 24 to 34: The woman suffering from bleeding for 12 years, and had endured much under many doctors. Her desire was to touch Jesus, to push through adversity so she could get closer to Jesus.
So the best thing we can say on healing is what Mark 9 verse 23 states: “Everything is possible to the one who believes.”
Send us a prayer request, so we can stand in faith with you as well, and would take great pleasure if you will stand with our family during our difficult time.
God Bless.
