In Christian terms, true enlightenment does mean freedom, but freedom from the ego and selfishness and shame that has enslaved the souls of men and women from the dawn of civilization. Our Lord and Our Friend said to His followers,

“You will know the truth and the Truth will set you free.”  John 8 verse 32.

Only an act of God’s grace can offer this freedom, and only a willing and humble heart can except it. Only then can enlightenment come:

“Their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.”

Be enlightened by the Truth of Who Jesus really is, Our Savior, Our Redeemer , Our Lord and Our Friend.
