Rejoice In Hope, Patience In Affliction

Yesterdays scripture verse was Romans 12 verse 12 and our today’s topic is taken from that.

Many things will come our way in life discouragement, distress, and adversity. How are we to handle these issues of life? regardless of what we might be going through, the relevance of the Bible is real to all our circumstances.

We have done a study on Job and Job is perhaps the most poignant book of the Bible, that offers specific instruction on suffering and loss.

Job’s trouble all started because of a wager between satan and God. God allowed satan to bring misfortune on Job to see if Job worshipped God for who he is rather than fro His blessings. Job passed this test in what he said in Job 1 verse 21. ” I came naked from my mother’w womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what i had, and the Lord has taken away. Praise the name of the Lord.”

One thing we must never forget God is Sovereign. God is always in control. God may have not instigated all the circumstances in our life, but He has allowed them to happen.

Our Hope which is our faith must believe; that even in the midst of pain, that Our God will work for our good.

Again Jeremiah 29 verse 11 God declaration ” Plans for your welfare, not disaster. to give you a future and a hope.”

Romans 5 verse 3 to 5 V3 And not only that, but we also should rejoice in our afflictions., because we know that afflictions produces endurance, v4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. v5 This hope does not disappoint because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given for us.

It is important to worship God in all circumstances, just as Job did, for we are always recipients of God’s love, God’s mercy, and salvation {victory over sin}.

God loves us and wants to fill our lives with our heart’s desire. God’s has a purpose to mold our hearts that they will respond to be more like His.

Romans 8 verse 28 We know that all things work for the good of those who love God; those who are called according to his purpose.

Our life is a journey with a destiny, we have an ever present Friend along that journey. {Our Lord and Our Friend} He is with us all the way, so circumstances might be bad at times in your life { or even now}, but look up and remember the words of Psalm 23.

Thou I walk through – through we come out – we don’t saty in.

We come through with Him with us, because he is with us all the way.

Reflect God loves you,but He loves you too much to leave you the way you are { He always has something better}

God Bless
