The Good News Which We Celebrate

The new Christians (believers) burst on to the seen with excitement that had never been seen before.

So sincere with the experiences they had of the Risen Lord, they took every oppportunity to pass it on, no matter what the cost.

You can read a bit about the cost of doing what is right in our coming story on Esther. “look out for it”

The new believers had an excitement which was not religion, it was not a morality.

It is the story of God’s love for us.

Naturally there is nothing complex about proclaiming the Good News. The people began in their communities, began to talk about it in their circle of influence.

It was infectious because it was`an excitement that had come from an experience.

How could this be, how did this message start?

We have a simple saying “that a person with an experience is never at the mercy of a person with an argument or theory.”

They had the experience, they had the knowing  (referred to in a Gem from Psalms)

Psalm 1`blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly’

The good news comes from the joy and satisfaction of knowing the Lord.

God loves you too much to leave you the way you are, come start the journey with Jesus as Lord and friend.

He is always with you, He will always equip you and the fruits of His spirit are Love, Joy,  Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Gentleness and Self Control.

Its a new way of living, a fresh start. So why not com walk with Him?

From the desk of the Old Fellow John,

God Bless
