1 Peter 1 verse 23: “Since you have been born again—not of perishable seed but of imperishable — through the living and enduring word of God”.

From The Message Bible: “Your new life is not like your old life — Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God’s Living Word”.

To be Born Again, born of The Spirit, regeneration, second birth. We were born into sin when we were born the first time, Christ Jesus came to pay the price, so we could be reborn of The Spirit.

Born Again, Spiritual rebirth of someone who professes faith in Christ Jesus.

To be Born again, we are made one with Christ Jesus, by a living faith and a vital relationship with Him {Our Lord, Our Redeemer, and Our Friend}.

John 3 verse 3:

“I tell you the truth, unless a man {or woman} is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God”.

Galatians 4 verse 28 and 29: We need Spiritual Birth.

V28: “Now you, brothers, like Isaac are children of promise. V29 But just as then the child born according to the flesh persecuted the one born according to the spirit, so also now”.

Why did Christ Jesus come? It certainly was not because he wanted to be born as a baby, but to show us that He came, to give us a new start, by being Born Again. Born of the Spirit, into to right relationship with Him and The Father and The Holy Spirit.

The Son Of God came is summed up in 1 Corinthians 15 Verse 22: “For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.”

Our Lord and Our Friend came to give us New Life, and life abundantly.
