Scripiture Verse Of The Week ‘John 11 Verse 33’

weep

John 11 Verse 33: “When Jesus saw her crying, and the Jews who had come with her crying, He was angry in His Spirit and deeply moved”.

Jesus was showing how much He cares for people. This was the story of Mary and Martha, who brother Lazarus had die.

Mary and Martha had called for Jesus to come when Lazarus was sick. Jesus turned up after Lazarus had just died. When we call out to Jesus, He might not answer us, in the way we expect, but He still holds everything in His control, and He will always be there for us.

Jesus saw the people weeping, But The Lord Jesus knew that in moments He would transform that scene of sorrow into joy, when He raised Lazarus from the dead.

But this did not cause Him to be insensitive to the sorrows of others in the interim. He groaned,  was troubles and wept. The shortest verse in Scripture, John 11 verse 35: “Jesus wept”.

Jesus had not yet come into His Kingdom, but here He gave a demonstration of His transforming Power. Available to us all if we accept the invitation to come John 3 verse 16: We Who are dead in sin, {dead in relationship to God}, will be transformed, given new life, free from the power of sin, to walk in fellowship, with our Loving Creator God. Continually being transformed, into the imagine of Christ.

Hosea 2 verse 15; Tells us, God is the only one Who can make the valley of trouble, a door of hope.

Jesus still sees all our sorrows today, first he need to ask Him to come into our situation of sadness, believes that He hears, and believe that He will respond, and believe in the transformation He has for our lives to give us joy.

Be thankful that we have such a wonderful High Priest, Who will succor us until we are safely home.

God Bless.
